What is the Difference Between Time Slips and Timesheets
A timesheet is a collection of time slips summarized and presented in a grid. The time slips included in the timesheet are filtered by user and date range.
Each row of the timesheet represents a Project, Proposal, Administrative Category, or Benefit. Each column represents a day in the chosen date range. Each cell of the grid can include data from more than one time slip - users can have more than one time slip per project per day.
Time slips are the records you edit when entering time. They are also used when reporting on time and labor.
Timesheets are most commonly associated with pay periods. However, in BaseBuilders, you can view your timesheet by week, pay period, or month.
