If you notice the billing rates section still appears when printing a proposal even after you unchecked it in Proposal Settings, you're not alone. This can be puzzling, but it's usually quick to fix.
Common Symptoms
Billing rates section appears on a printed proposal even after being turned off in Proposal Settings.
Changing the setting in Proposal Settings has no effect on existing proposals.
Causes
Proposal Settings are copied to each new proposal at the time it is created. Changing Proposal Settings later does not update proposals that already exist.
To hide the billing rates section in an existing proposal, you need to update the settings directly in that individual proposal.
Solutions
If you have multiple proposals, repeat these steps for each one that needs updating.
Verification
After updating the options and printing your proposal, the billing rates section should no longer appear. If it does, double-check you saved your changes in the proposal editor.
