QuickBooks Integration Requirements
Do I need QuickBooks Online to use the integration?
Yes. The BaseBuilders QuickBooks integration requires a QuickBooks Online account. Desktop versions of QuickBooks are not supported.
Can I use QuickBooks Desktop with BaseBuilders?
Unfortunately no, only QuickBooks Online is supported for integration with BaseBuilders.
Which version of QuickBooks Online works best?
While we can push your transactions to any of the online packages, we recommend QBO Essentials. It comes at a decent price point and should meet the needs of your A/E firm.
Is there an alternative to QuickBooks Online?
Yes. And you can migrate data from QuickBooks. We also integrate with Xero.com and they are more affordable than QuickBooks. Check with Xero for particulars.
We use Xero for accounting at BaseBuilders, and find that their entry level package serves us well.
